Take Action: Demand Open Hearings on Trump-Russia

The Republican majority in the House Intelligence Committee have cancelled an open hearing into Trump-Russia ties scheduled for March 28.

Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former CIA Director John Brennan and former deputy Attorney General Sally Yates were all scheduled to testify at an open Committee hearing, which has now been delayed to a later date and has been changed from an open hearing to a closed one.

This move has been described as an “attempt to choke off public info,” according to Rep. Adam Schiff, ranking minority member of the Committee.

The American people have a right to know whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia during the 2016 elections. Any hearings that do not involve classified information should be open to the public, as the entire nation is eager to learn whether the president is legitimate or not.
