Mike Huckabee Tried to be Funny And Showed His Ignorance Instead
WASHINGTON, March 2, 2017—Ex-Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee tried to be funny on Twitter—and it blew up in his face, revealing Huckabee knows very little about literature and/or geography, and even less about being clever or funny.
On Thursday morning Huckabee tweeted, “Dems select ticket for 2020. A match made in Transylvania,” below a picture of Democratic Senator Al Franken and Green Party candidate Jill Stein, with the caption “Franken/Stein 2020.”

The response came fast, as Twitter users pointed out that Frankenstein is not set in Transylvania, but Lake Geneva and that Frankenstein was the name of the doctor, not the monster.
Frankenstein isn’t from Transylvania his house is on Lake Geneva in Bavaria you guys can’t even get facts right in jokes https://t.co/6Sha5a4OJT

@GovMikeHuckabee Mike, did you even read Frankenstein? I mean, I know it’s a scary book written by a woman, but educate yourself. Please.
